I am Mark Parkinson, the proud Headteacher of Walton Peak Flying High Primary and Nursery Academy.  Welcome to our new website, this is an extremely exciting time for the school as we have just opened as part of Flying High Academy Trust.  Working closely with the Trust, we will be ensuring that our school serves your community, giving our children the very best start to life that they deserve.

Substantial investment has been made, and continues to be made in the school to create an environment to inspire all who attend and walk through the door.  The new EYFS outdoor area promises to deliver a rich, vibrant and engaging curriculum, setting the tone for the school.

As a staff, we will be working hard alongside our new governing body to ensure the curriculum challenges all pupils to fulfil their potential whilst providing them with experiences they will remember for a lifetime.  The skills, knowledge and resilience they develop will set them up to have the confidence to take on all the challenges they are faced with after primary school.

I firmly believe a school should be the heartbeat of the community and working with yourselves, I know we can establish Walton Peak Flying High Academy not only at the centre of your community but as a school that will have a lasting positive impact on children’s lives.
